About the Artist
Iwona Barylska is a Polish-born, Canadian-based oil painter known for colourful, expressive animal paintings that focus on individuality and character. Her work includes both single-subject portraits and group scenes, ranging from intimate pet paintings to larger farm-animal compositions.
Trained in drawing and painting from an early age in Poland, she continued her education at the Higher School of Art and Design in Łódź.
Her work has been recognized in international juried exhibitions, including a Top 100+ selection in the 4th Annual Animal Portraiture Open and an Artistic Excellence Award from Fusion Art International. Her paintings are held in private collections in Canada and the United States.
